This month, the world celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride Month is an opportunity to reflect and remember those who have paved the way and commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots – a week of protests with black trans women, such as Marsha P. Johnson at its centre. We also celebrate the importance of continued visibility and the power of allyship in the journey towards equality for the entire LGBTQIA+ community.
Here at Huxtaburger, we champion diversity in everything we do. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Brendan Pang – cook, author, owner of Bumplings and MasterChef Australia 2018 & 2020 contestant – to serve up a flavour-filled burger, with all profits being donated Minus18 and all the awesome work they do with LGBTQIA+ youth.
